Future First – NEW Virtual Career Insight Packs

NEW! Virtual Career Insight Pack

Did you know that women make up just 22% of the STEM workforce?
From gender to social background and neurodiversity, there are a whole host
of barriers at play when it comes to inequality in not just the workforce, but
also participation in the study of STEM subjects like physics.
That’s why Planet Possibility exists, a consortium of education and STEM
organisations funded by the Institute of Physics with a number of aims,
including:
• Provide a greater breadth of young people with access to physics
specialists and role models;
• Provide greater support for physics teachers;
• Encourage and develop talent into academic physics and physics-based
careers.

What Schools Say About Us

Being part of the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Careers Hub has been pivotal to the development of careers provision in our school. The Hub have shared good practice across their members resulting in a stronger focus on good quality provision. The annual event enabled the hub to share their vision of School Improvement Through The Lens of Careers and looking beyond the Benchmarks. It was a fantastic opportunity to share different models of school improvement and strategies to further develop careers provision to enhance the future opportunities of our young people.
